Who need’s Google? Let God’s Word be your guide!

There is something so majestic about a mountain range. They can be breathtakingly beautiful as they fill the horizon of a landscape reaching spectacular heights and crowding out the sky.

What comes to mind when you hear the word “mountain”? Do you picture the Appalachian Mountains, Sierra Nevada, or the Alaska Range? Maybe the Rocky Mountains or the Great Smoky Mountains come to mind.
Isn’t it simply amazing how massive these peaks become as you inch ever closer? Suddenly you find yourself in the valley of a mountain. The horizon is completely obscured as the landscape is now horizontal taking your view onward and upward! I don’t know about you, but the vastness of the land looming overhead, while very beautiful, can sometimes overwhelm me!

Life’s pathway often overwhelms us, too. We make plans and set goals. We visualize those goals waiting just a little ahead in the horizon. But sometimes as we inch ever closer to our goals they become obscured by the mountain that looms overhead.
Suddenly those mountainous roadblocks are overwhelming! We can become disillusioned and lose hope as the unyielding mountain blocks our way. Don’t lose hope, don’t lose faith!! Google doesn’t have the answer you need… but God’s Word does! God’s Word says the smallest amount of faith is what we need!

“Google doesn’t have the answer you need… but God’s Word does! God’s Word says the smallest amount of faith is what we need!”
Matthew 17:20 says, “And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”

Lord, life can be so discouraging at times! Take my focus off of myself. Lord, help my unbelief! May I have faith, even as the grain of mustard seed, to live a victorious life in service to You! May the Bible, Your Holy Word, be the search engine I go to for direction! Please don’t allow me to be a mountain blocking someone from seeing You. Thank You, Lord! Amen
“May the Bible, God’s Holy Word, be the search engine I go to for direction! Don’t go to Google… go to God, the Ultimate Global Positioning System!!”
seeing the pictures of mountains is a reminder of how great God is. Of course I like the cornfields of Illinois too.
